largest budget gym chain, wanted to ensure that their proposition was equally on point for both male and female members.\n\nThey needed to understand what drives women to choose a gym over others and how they could increase satisfaction and drive up participation rates.\n<h2>Building on internal knowledge to deliver a fresh perspective<\/h2>\nWe explored member\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.incite-global.com\/2021\/03\/02\/five-types-of-consumer-journey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">behaviour<\/a>\u00a0by analysing internal customer and operational databases, interviewing management one-on-one and conducting site audits.\n\nWe then benchmarked the proposition against competitors, before conducting extensive quantitative research.\n<h2>An action plan for implementation and impact<\/h2>\nWe developed 18 specific recommendations to boost female membership and loyalty, split into \u2018quick wins\u2019 and longer-term initiatives.\n\nPureGym
